Author Topic: Should I make a dagger?  (Read 3145 times)

Don't have a camera.  Ima borrow my sister's.

they had obsidian-tipped weapons
They also had clubs with pieces of sharpened obsidian in them. The obsidian would usually come out in the middle of battle and get stuck in the enemy, then you'd replace the bits lost for the next battle.

Okay enough about the loving Aztecs.  I'd prefer stick to the 3 questions I asked and provide any input on where I could get this done if possible.

everyone says that about their own topics but they'd be willing to derail someone else's topic in a heartbeat

They made obsidian weapons in Fable...
Oh wait, that was Fable.
And ebony was a metal in Tamriel. Lol.

stuffty rock: Yes
Make able into a dagger?: No
Can the OP make a dagger even if he had a nice bar of steel?: He could make it flat that's about it.

Get out

dont leave us hanging WHAT IS IT

OP will come back in a month after a period of silence.
He will tell us how the university discovered it to be an exceedingly radioactive piece of material and his entire neighbourhood had to be evacuated.
He also likely has cancer in the hands and brain.

But atleast it made a pretty cool dagger. All the scientists agreed.

I doubt he'll be able to make it a dagger unless he takes it to someone who knows what they're doing

i bet he'll try and ruin it all

it's a rock, not a piece of metal.

it has to be bigger than what you're trying to make it because it's like the same reason why you can't make diamond swords.

you can cut down but you can't melt down, put together, and freeze back up.

rocks and gemstones just don't work that way.

Forge it out of your own blood and sweat.
