Sound issues

For some reason the sound comes out really loud in the left headphone ear and absolutely none comes out at all in the right. And when I turn in different directions in first or third person, sound fades out or gets louder.

Also, when I am on servers other than my own and do the /alarm emote in first person, it blasts my speakers like ear rape.

What is going on?

Could just be your sound settings, check them.

I've already tried that, the speakers are apparently working fine and the sound balancing is equalized. It just is very weak in the right earphone. I tried using different headphones and it still happens.

no, they work perfectly fine on my iPod and other stuff. think it has to do with my computer. not sure what it could be though specifically
