Author Topic: Fill Printer  (Read 1193 times)

We really need a way to Fill Print large areas with prints.
Now I do know about the Tool Wand and how it claims to have a "Fill Print" action, but it only lets you select letters to be fill printed.

I would like a way to easily Fill Print all touching print bricks with any print available to that brick.

Also, if there is already something in existence that does this, please let me know.

Multitool wand has this feature. Try googling "tool_multi" or something.

Now read the OP again...

The only time I would find a fill printer very useful is if I was clearing a large wall of text of print bricks.
The fillcan isn't any more useful than this I hate to admit but I support anything that makes my life easier.

This is gonna be needed if the modular bricks that people are making, will be printable. ;)

This is what I do:
 - plant first print brick
 - set first print
 - plant all other print bricks. They will use the same print.

You can just do that as a workaround for now.

What about layered prints? Multiple lines? You can't put the upper without the lower.

didnt read any thing but i can use this for mingcraft builds any one?

Yeah I'm pretty sure anyone who really wanted the creeper could build it themselves and probably do a better job.. lol..

This doesn't work if you buildbot it, or if your testing how a print would look in bulk.

Hint: If you notice, the Multi-Tool and the Tool Wand work the same way.. They don't do what I need them to.
