Front character view, like in minecraft.

We download faces and torso decals only to never have the ability to see them unless we go to our avatar customizing menu or die. Apart from third person there should be a front character view too.

I'm not sure, but I think i remember this being impossible unless you had the camera upside down
you could create some sort of immovable invisible object and place it infont of the character and set the players control to that object though, but it would probably be inefficient (you wouldn't be able to control yourself)

i don't really feel like that's be necessary though, if you want to admire yourself just use the avatar menu.

Yep, the camera can be rotated along the axis that would go straight through the player.
So it'd be inverted yes.
