Author Topic: How do I prevent prints from glowing in the dark?  (Read 1102 times)

I've been having this issue for a bit, but i'm not sure how to make this stop. It's annoying and i'd like to learn how to get rid of it.

There is no way to prevent glowing

EDIT: I had my caps lock on =S

Unless it's fixed in the next update, or you can change the print's transparency according to the light level, it isn't going to happen.

I believe this is fixed in the next update.

Maybe but I doubt it. Badspot mentioned that prints use entirely separate lighting from the 3D world.

Well, crap.
Only other solution I could think of is to
change the print's transparency according to the light level.
Although that wouldn't work as well as it should.

With prints, using ANY color no matter the transparency, will result in glowing. If you don't want a print to glow, you can only use different transitions of black.

No.
If prints become more transparent as the light level falls, they don't glow as much.
Were you thinking of something else entirely? :|

..Don't glow as much? That's still glowing..

I'm talking about prints that can be used in any lighting.
Not just one...

there are alot of prints i know of that dont glow in the dark. so yes it is 100% possible

Will prints glow in the next update?
In shader mode, the print textures do not glow.
