Author Topic: Frostbyte's Computer be borkin.  (Read 520 times)

So lately my computer has had to be rebooted numerous times, as of now the cause is unknown but I hope anyone with a knowledge of computers can help me.

This is what happens:
Im busy on my computer doing something and all of a sudden my game or internet will freeze, strangely enough I can highlight and click some desktop icons (Im not sure if I can open them) but everything else becomes unresponsive. Today I noticed that my computer makes a clicking noise and the problem may be internal. I click the power off button and reset my computer. it does this after a few minutes or hours or so after it's turned back on again.

Please help, I don't want to lose all of my saved files and such :c

According to Urban Dictionary (no official dictionary entries)

i have nothing to say

It does a click noise? That souds like the harddrive has a fail but I have no idea. I want to know why my $3200 PC does at least 2 Bluescreen a day.

Every day to week to month my computer gets a blue screen, but when I restart it, it's perfectly loving normal.

I was having problems similar to the ones you're describing a few months ago. constant bluescreens, tons of freezing programs and crashes. i took it to a PC repair store and they figured out that my hard drive was busted up real bad.

so yeah i think that's your problem.

Ok, I guess I should get a new one before it shuts down for good.

Thank you for the help you've just saved my PC.
