Server brick limits and/or the new one is going to overlap the old?
Perhaps it would act like the duplicator, but when you hit place, it would clear the old and THEN place the new.

Wouldn't making the duplicator projectile a raycasted one like the admin wand fix this?

er, well, you would need to set it up so the projectile also spawns the ghost brick selected...

thing is that if you press the clear ghost brick key after duping your brick by accident, you'll lose whatever you duped, or if you use your scroll key on your mouse by accident, it will scroll through your brick inventory and make you lose your bricks
