I appreciate boundless praise, but I could use how to make it better, too, so post any ideas you might have on revising previous sections and/or where you might like the end to go. I've got a general idea on how I want it to end, but I feel like it's too cliche.

"As we began our journey towards home, the best pace I kept was barely that of Rose's, as the pace of a dog can far out run that of mine, and she oftentimes would gallop around a corner, vanishing from sight for a moment or two, before I would catch up and force her to stop, or I would die from exhaustion before any sword or arrow."

These sentences are too long, yet the chapters are way too short.  BLAH?!
