Author Topic: [QUESTION] Physics-Oriented FPS  (Read 860 times)

Okay. I want to play a physics-oriented first person shooter. I'm outlawing garrysmod and half live because I know about them and/or have them.

Are there any others out there that are good?

Crysis?
maybe Farcry 2, at a stretch

Fracture is pretty legit, kinda short though.

you shoot portals

it's in first person

it relies heavily on physics

I wonder if OP is going to reply

Battlefield 3 or Battlefield Bad Company 2.

Those are great physics related games and they don't over blow it.

Shattered horizon?
Too bad that game is really... PHYSICAL...

But seriously Shattered Horizon is a good choice. Have a look at it.
But do people still even play it?

Lol thanks for the suggestions - the reason I didn't reply is because I posted the topic right before leaving to bed.

So: Shattered horizon? k.

EDIT: Checked it out. Space game. Basically the physics are you jetting around...?
EDIT2: Checked out Fracture. Love the terrain forming and modifying. But it's for xbox and ps3.

And has anyone checked out Just Cause2? It seems like it has good object physics and such.

Just cause 2 is really good, especially the sky diving.

just cause 2 is amazing, mainly because of the hook

you also might want to check out saints row the third, it's better coded jc2 without the hook
