Author Topic: PS3 + xBox Controller Support?  (Read 1332 times)

I would love to see this made, playing blockland on a big flatscreen TV with a controller.

Not on the console, but playing blockland with a controller from a console is basically what I am asking for.

you need alot of buttons

I agree but that had to have alot of buttons..... lol

(Using PS3 Controller) Direction keys could be used up and down for tools, and sideways for brick selection, and the paint can could be activated whenever you press down one of the brown townogs. Jump would be X, R1 would be to fire weapon/tool. L1 would be jet or right click. Start would be the escape, select could be your brick menu, Square to place a brick once the ghost brick is down, L2 is to move the brick up, and R2 is to move it down, directional keys would be used to move the brick around once a ghost brick is down, and Circle would be to crouch, Triangle could toggle walking.
Please tell me if I left anything out?

Custom GUIs would be a problem with this though.

I actually have played with PS3 controller and it was pretty fine using ControlMK or something like that.

I got controlMK and I am trying to connect it to my computer. I have the plug and everything but it keep connecting to my playstation. I even unplugged my playstation and now it won't connect to anything.

Pretty sure it's already supported. TomTheGeek made a topic a long time ago about the game [surprisingly] having Joypad support.

Native Joypad Support in Blockland.
