This movie pretty much sums up what games will be like, minus actual people at the other end.

Also,What I like to call the "Valve Box," even if it is officially the "Steam Box."

There are two roads to continued success after the 460, Wii, and PS3 get replaced:
1. Steam Box
2. We convince Sega to make a new game console

Gaming will be split into 4 different sections.
ARGs = use augmented reality along with other mediums to generate content.
Single Player = Elaborate, novel-like games, or Casual, Arcade Games.
Lobby-Based Multiplayer = Focuses highly on competition.
MMOs = Focuses on Role-Playing in a large community setting.

Basically, no different.

I certainly hope you're not suggesting our nation would stoop to that level of capital punishment.
but
If you're suggesting that our graphics will soon be indistinguishable from a photo, I certainly hope so.
But I ask you
Have you ever seen a game to perfectly mimic the movement of living things? I mean, Assassin's Creed almost perfectly mimics horse movement and even human movement, but only so well. A game like Grand Theft Auto IV has very nearly perfect, very natural movement, but it still looks rather stiff to me.

natural weighting shouldnt be super complex. most games use pre made animations though.

I feel as if you cant change how things work right now.
I strongly believe that in 5 years, I will still be using a Keyboard in mouse, and consoles will still have controllers.
I entirely believe that nothing will change, just new things will be introduced.

I'm posting from my 3ds right now lol.
I'm posting this from my DSiXL, it's effing awesome.
