I remember trying to rush through so I wouldn't die on day 30 only to find that I get to the final level on day 24, and then i too incompetent to figure out what to do so I had my brother help me

So does anyone fight the final boss with the "proper" bomb rock method? It's efficient and safe, but it's more fun to just rush in with 100 reds and go to town on the forgeter. Losses are always heavy but it makes the fight intense enough for a final boss.
