"Good" Christians in the sense that they're adhering to the very original ideology.  Not "Good" Christians in that their actions are upheld in our society, they're still considered very extremist.

Well, yeah.  Pretty much.  The original ideology is so abhorred in our society that the WBC is seen as hateful and twisted, even though that's what the true deep message is.  If Jesus "comes back", he'll be praising them likely and not American churches.

The WBC is ignoring a fairly key verse in scripture.

Ephesians 6:12

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We are not supposed to hate people, but we are to abhor actions, worldviews and mindsets that are against Scripture.  We are to love Homoloveual people as we love ourselves, but we can not sit back and allow homoloveuality to permeate our culture.
