i overreacted badly to the news when legit told me, but i'm not trying to excuse what i said. regardless, i don't dislike you, i simply frown upon the practice.

for my own religious reasons, it personally disghusts me that such a thing has become an acceptable practice. of course, even declaring that one is religious seems to immediately create hatred towards them, like how i treated you today. i'm sorry about overreacting.

Religion isn't an excuse to be a dumbass. Excusing people's actions for it can only apply to people who are under 8 years old and really haven't attempted thinking about why the world exists, nor are capable of doing so. Just because you're parents taught you to do something doesn't make it right.
