Author Topic: QuickTime's loving up, re-installing doesn't help  (Read 608 times)

A while ago, I noticed that I could no longer open .tga or .mov files. Whenever I try to open any, a small window appears for a split second in the upper left corner, then it dissappears and nothing happens. I've tried downloading it and re-installing, but nothing works. Has this happened to anyone else?

When I try to render a .mov in Sony Vegas, it says that "no existing templates support the media".

QuickTime or gtfo
also flubbman settings
Try that

I like Quicktime. Its wonderful... on Mac OSX.

When using it in Windows 7 I find it really slow. Sometimes I wonder if Apple does a slapdash job with their OS ports just to be spiteful, but maybe I'm being a bit suspicious.

I still use it in Windows though. But VLC is faster, so fair game for either.

But VLC can open any media file :c
Can VLC open .tga files?
No because its a media player.
Plus with picasa Photo viewer can open it(and fast too)
