Author Topic: Mirror Player Movement (Bot Event)  (Read 789 times)

A script activated by events that lets a bot mirror the player who spawned it's movements. You move to the left, the bot moves to the left, you jump, the bot jumps.

This would be a great addition to challenges adding an interesting mirror effect. Used in the right ways, this would be really cool.


Spawn a bunch in front of a pool dressed as black men in suits with afros.

There would need to be a way to disable forward/backward movement for bots that can effectively block paths. Perhaps a checkbox that can toggle it in the event.

Yeah someone made this and showed me it but i'm not sure if i can say his name (if he would want me to or not) Because it's still Alpha but i'm pretty sure he will release it.

I asked him to make it for my skrillex cell background avatar thing

I want a way to accurately build mirrors.

I made something like this several years ago. You could spawn an army of bots and they'd all move and aim in the same direction, equip the same weapon as you, and fire when you do.
Lost it though.

Probably not. Mirrors generate infinite lag in torque, I think they were once possible, but not any more

I can do it NOW with clever build mirroring by building two identical rooms connected by a clear window.

Those builds seriously amaze me.

Here is one of my smaller ones.

Its not hard to do, you just gotta build the same room backwards.

My Mirror Bot wouldn't work here, it would only be apply-able to wall mirrors.
