Author Topic: Playertype with 3 separate jump modes.  (Read 451 times)

Low jump can jump over a 6x6 Cube goes a max of one 6x6 cube long.
Normal jump can jump over two 6x6 cubes goes a max of 2 6X6 cubes long
High jump can jump over 3 6x6 cubes and goes a max of 3 6x6 cubes long

If you hit shift then jump (high jump)
if you hit shift+S "walk back wards" then jump (low jump)
just jump normal hight.

Kinda cool, but at the moment a normal jump will only get up to one 6x cube height.
Also, it might be a good idea to change the topic title to explain the whole suggestion.

what?

the normal player jumps over a 5x5 brick, just barely.

it can't jump over a 6x6 block.

It can jump onto it, it's pretty much exactly six bricks height.

Also, by shift you mean crouch, right? I have shift for walk, which isn't possible to detect serverside.

Also, that's a pretty ridiculous jump height frankly

I'm trying to recreate a platformer...

Playertype with 3 separate jump styles

put that in title, it currently looks like you're suggesting a triple-jump player.

god damn it fastlex, now you made it WORSE
Playertype with 3 separate jump modes
