Portal 2 Crashing on Start

So when I launch Portal 2, it gets past the first 2 Valve and Source title screens, then an error pops up saying something along the lines of some texture is missing? I'll get a picture here in a minute, but has anyone had that/know how to fix it? It was working fine just last night to, so it's kinda confusing.

is that from the Steam folder, Portal 2 folder or..? (PC btw)
