i was just at that bridge like a month ago :o

Must be short hill for it to get flooded.

Duluth is built on the former lakebed of a glacial lake. It has some high hills and steep driving inclines that rival San Fransisco.

This is the swinging bridge before

What it looks like now

Anyway I think you guys should be able to rebuild.

No doubt about that. But sometimes you just crave the nostalgia. The next bridge that goes up there will most likely be stationary and no fun at all.

I was up in Duluth/Superior just last month to go to the Pattison state park, then over to Two Harbors for something else.
Weird to see it all flooded and stuff :[

it floods in ausfailia literally every other week during the summer months up here in QLD :(

I live way up on a hill lol.
If we get flooded than the rest of the city is under like 1000 feet of water.

I know that feeling. There is a town up north from where I live in CA that has a bridge like yours that is slightly longer.

Good ol CA. Now that's a place I'm nostalgic for.
