my school is what gave me anger issues  :cookieMonster:
Same.
My school is filled with the most subhuman primates I've ever seen. Their stupidity mocks me. And the mere notion that they view themselves superior is extremely preposterous.

CBA to read the thread but Scratch in year 8 (assuming you're like 12) is great. I just finished A Level computing (year 12/13) at college and we were using Scratch in that, crazy.

When I was in school I found that Scratch is good for proof of concept's, testing your pseudo-code or flowcharts.

However I agree, for actually coding any half-decent game or software... it's not worth trying.

trust me, if you take ICT for GCSE you'll learn a bit about programs...

if you take CIDA ict you'll learn more. (i regret not taking cida)

I can get Cisco Certified by 11th grade at my school. It's pretty swell.

It's so incredibly boring. I went through all of the curriculum in 10th grade, but never took the test.

As a great man once said, if you can't figure it out yourself, you never will.

What a great man.

All we learn in tech is Microsoft programs like word and powerpoint mostly because of our stuffty teacher and the entire 8th grade student population has the technology knowledge of a first grader.

Quote from: A conversation with a moron.
Moron - Minecraft is stuff
Me - Why?
Moron - Because it has pixels.
Me - All games have pixels...
Moron - But in Mincraft YOU CAN SEE THEM

This is why I want to be in Cal Polytech.

Also, don't join the scratch community, it's not worth programming. Only the animators and a tiny bit of programmers get the views.

Don't you just hate being smarter than everyone else? :c
