Author Topic: Higher JVS doors.  (Read 836 times)

It would be nice if the doors were a bit higher. Like 6 tall instead of 5. Having the blockhead's head pretty much touch the top of the door when you pass under is pretty unrealistic. I mean how close is your head to the top off the door way when you pass?

If anyone is up for the challenge PM me and I'll tell you the doors I need raised.

I thought about it, but in the end it actually makes sense about the doors, just look at a normal Lego door. also its much more convenient to make doors that high because people like to use 5x height bricks allot.

Yeah, it's just that when you build a nice, architectural correct style house, the doors make the scale of the house feel a bit smaller. If they were a tad higher it'd feel more correct and proportioned.

dude, there no x5, I've look into this, a blockland is x4 high. a door is x4, there not x5, I taught i would say that.

You obviously didn't look into this very well because a door is 5x tall, same with blockheads.
Also, wtf is a blockland

Isn't a blockland's height variable?  :cookieMonster:

Actually a blockhead is only 4 bricks and 2 plates tall.

and a minecraft player is 1.73 blocks tall, but that exact value has no real application
you know what he means, the blockhead may as well ae 5 bricks tall

Actually it does have application because I quite often use hallways that are 4.66 high to stuff that hallway between 2 existing floors.

that would feel really cramped and weird .-·

It's supposed to, because it's usually a form of crawlspace that shouldn't slow you down.
