Author Topic: How to add damage resistance and change player's avatar colors  (Read 620 times)

Okay, how do I make it so when an item is mounted to the player's chest it adds 20 damage resistance to the player and changes his avatar colors along with when it's unmounted it reduces 20 damage resistance and changes his avatar colors again.

Well first start out by making it actually mount to the players chest. One step at a time.

How do I do that, do I start with a blank server.cs file? how do I even mount an item.

Please... I am only gonna say this once, if you could give me a walk through, that'd be amazing, but please don't refer me to a tutorial :C

Yes. You create a server.cs, along with a proper description.txt all in a zip file inside your add-ons. Or just execute the cs files, search for that. But making this is more complex than you think

That's why I want someone to help me with it, but every time I make a topic, it gets trolled...

This is Coding help not Coding Requests. If you don't know how to code and aren't willing to learn post something in Suggestions and Requests.

usually the best way to get coding help is to download other add-ons and look at their code, you could probably look at Space-Guy's TDM for customizing body parts and some armor mods for damage resistance
