Author Topic: Event Request: Plant and Delete outputs  (Read 288 times)

/title.  Very self explanatory.  Not sure how well it's work though, if at all possible.  The placement of the brick would be weird though, so maybe some North, South, East, West, Up, and Down kinda thing could work?  And could there be a box to add a brick name to the newly planted brick?

I understand a delete event, but....plant? How do you event the brick to put a plant event on it before planting it?

EDIT: Or do you mean to plant another brick next to it?

More like ontop.

The reason for these is for a special way of farming for my all Evented City RPG, and my plan was to use this where the player buys a plot of land, 8x8, clicks on it, selects a seed type, then after a while, a brick is planted in the spot.  I could easily do this without special plant and delete events, but that would require pre-made bricks that when rendering is checked for say a cabbage, a 2x2 brick, this couldn't been done where there would be no lines, because if someone wanted to plant corn, a 1x4 brick, it would look bad.

I'm sorry, I wasn't think straight when I made this topic.  I just realized I could use the no-lines 1x1 brick or no-lines 1x1 plate.

I still think this could be useful, so that there wouldn't need to be so many namedbricks for one plot.

onPlant would be useful for relays when you load a save.

I thought that clockturn made this ages ago
