wtf its the same as mine!!!!!!11

Would you want someone to take your IP and send you 50 pizzas and you have to pay for them?

I was just trying to make sure they can't. We have already settled this. Let it go.

so why are you still paranoid

Yeah but I don't want my IP in the hands of a cigarette who's willing to try and DDOS me or send me pizza...

You can't even get a direct location from an IP

This.
Unless you live in a small ass town the chances of someone having your exact pin pointed location is impossible.
Once I did manage to find out where a steam friend lived through IP lol.

People can DDOS which is distributed denial of service which is basically sending alot of packets to your router and blocks off your service due to overflow. Its almost like when you type in ping google.com in on your CMD but x10000. So yes, they can do something with your IP.
Someone correct me if this is wrong, but:
I think you need to have a program running that is listening for requests and sending out large amounts of data

You can easily stop a DDOS.

Change your mac address.
Some modems might not have a mac address spoofing feature, though?

Modem MAC addresses only appear when it's finding a signal (or acting as a router), then it's the computer's MAC that matters.
