Author Topic: Steam, Good or not? (update)  (Read 4517 times)

I'm a 16k ID. The few, the proud. Seriously, I never see other 16k IDs around anymore. Looking forward to Blockland on Steam, I am. Lots of new people.

Would be cool if pre-steam members got a key to get a copy of BL on steam.
Keys on Blockland will most likely work. Steam just start ups the demo and you have to insert the team.

i'm 3962, big whoop. ID just shows when you what person you were to buy the game.

You little rascle.

Maturity counts, ID doesn't. But most new ID's are just people who don't get used on how our specific society works and they can be annoying as forget.

Exactly. Its not like I'm telling people to kiss my feet because I'm "low ID", no one should think that they deserve to have special treatment because of it.
our specific society
ha, so true.

Yeah, I know lots of low ID players that suck at just about everything in Blockland. Like Armageddon lol.

But all low IDs have the most experience, no matter how good they are at something. Unless they rarely played Blockland from when they joined to now.

can we all get a flashy symbol on our profiles to symbolize that we were here longer

That's definitely the case already. Most of those kids don't actually post on the forums but there are a vast number who actually play the game. I'd like to think that some of the mature players Steam will bring would be more inclined to provide "safe" servers for the younger part of the community.
I might be able to do a safe server, but I should be cautious about my grudges if I host.

I have an IRC bot system that I can script to be usable as an admin notifier, in case things go out of hand.

OP please change the title to "Steam, good or bad?" or "Steam, good or not?".
