fix the loving preview button

I was writing a topic and I was midway through writing it. I clicked "Preview" to preview my topic and I was redirected to a page asking me to log in, because it seems my login had timed out. So, I logged back in my account, for what? I found my writing box completely blank. I just lost everything I had written. Please fix this.

When writing large topics I suggest you do it locally in a text file, at any point you could lose your progress online.

You try hitting back a couple times? On some browsers, text in fields is restored when you go back to where you typed it.

I had the same problem and that didn't fix it for me when I tried.

now when I'm typing long posts, I copy the post before I preview it.

Does it matter how many people do it? If it's useful it's worth doing, and it is indeed useful for larger amounts of text.

OT: The preview button isn't broken, your forum session timed out. Hitting the back button on Firefox on these forums puts the text back in the box for me though.
