How do you create music for blockland?

I want to make a loop for Command and Conquer Generals, USA battle theme 1 - 4.
Or unless someone can do it for me, that would be great.

1.get the song
2.get audacity (google it)
3.open it, and make it mono, then delete one of the two soundtracks
4.trim it so its under a minute atleast, preferbly 30 seconds long
5.export it as an .ogg
