Author Topic: REQUEST good builds  (Read 2175 times)

it's been awhile since I've seen some good builds. is there any race track builds, space ship or lab builds, and or good city builds? i would loves those. :p

I have some that are WIP, are you requesting saves or screenshots though?

Wow! 2 topics mentioning good space ships. You people are really pushing me to finish this thing! You won't be disapointed!

i mean saves. sorry. when i had to re-install blockland, i didn't keep my saves that i got off servers.

That's called theivry. Unless the name of the builder is somewhere on the build HINT HINT, or you give mention to them.

i didn't know that saving other people's builds was such a bad thing. my bad.

Well, usually its fine if you get permission. I know I saved Bushido's racetrack once, but he said that I could.

It is perfectly fine to save another persons build without permission.  It is even alright to host that save in your own server.  Why don't you people understand that client saving exists for that reason.  Stealing is when they claim it as their own, not when they use it for their own fun.

I used Bushido's Boxing Ring once for my boxing server when someone said "You made this", I said "Bushido made this so all the credits for the build is to Bushido" So I am not Stealing I was playing with it for fun

Yes, exactly, save whatever the hell you want, whenever the hell you want, just make sure people know you didn't build it, and that someone else did.
Also, you might not want to save and host car or jumping challenges that someone else made, that I consider full thievery.

So, what makes that any different?  Playing in an awesome jump server, but you don't have time to finish before it shuts down.  Other people feel the exact same way.  You host it because you don't feel like building your own.  It's not stealing if credit is given where credit is due.
