Okay I will just assume it is good and go out and buy it thanks guys. (should I lock this it seems to be getting crazy)

yes, just buy it its worth it.

oh no guys seriously

older games dont really hold any appeal for me
no need to call me an idiot/etc

I'm not calling you stupid for not finding appeal in older games, I'm calling you stupid for making a stupid comment.

I find it very good.
I love the story and the cutscenes are annoying at times, but very very nice conclusion for the trilogy

Here, I'm going to remove spoilers and names from the picture I linked. You can read it and determine if you're going to like it. It's mostly about the themes and messages in the game, and what kind of story it is. Just give me a minute.

Here. There are actually two other posts in the picture but they talk about the ending of the game so I just cropped it out. I mostly just edited out names, it's not really that spoiling but whatever. After you beat the game though you should come back and look at the unedited picture I posted on the first page. It provides some great insight on the story.

The reason older games lose their appeal is because older games with 3d have such stuff modeling. If you go from playing deus ex - human revolution to playing the original deus ex, the graphics style will take some getting used to, especially seeing as the humans from that time period all had their faces plastered on and their hands were painted slabs of wood.

I have no problem with outdated graphics.

Nor do I, but that's not even a problem for Max Payne 1 and 2. Both aged well, especially 2.

What ever happened to the whole "Gameplay>Graphics" mindset? I guess that doesn't apply anymore.

The only games that don't fit with the Gameplay > Graphics mindset are the old N64 Games.
Because a ton of them haven't aged well...

Super Mario 64 really aged well though.

i dont feel the necessity to play them, and the fact that theyre old simply puts me off more. i can enjoy n64 games and etc, i just dont feel at all compelled to play max payne 1&2
