well many are dedicated servers which are up 24/7 and usually are work in progresses or empty

When I have a day off of school, I'm on at around that time too but see around 45-80 players at that time of the day.

It depends on the timezone you're in though. In my timezone, everyone in the US is in school around that time. If you're on the west coast, people on the east coast are out of school already.
