Not unless you're switching your hardrive. If you plan to also switch your GPU then uninstall the drivers first.
i never upgrade mobos. i start with the best available and upgrade the rest over time.then when mobo is truly shotty, i get a new comp
you don't need to but it is highly recommended to do it anyways.
I really should have started out with the intel motherboard. My bad.NNnnnnNNnn. So is that a do it or no.
You can change CPU and Mobo without having to reinstall your OS. Try and see if there is a uninstall driver section on ur current mobo and if there isn't the either way I think your fine. You will need to manually uninstall some stuff such as the audio driver if ts different in the new mobo but other than that I think ur fine. (U will need to install the drivers for the new mobo, remember that)
I think I remember seeing software that could uninstall my mobo drivers for me. Question, do I need to install the new mobo drivers before swapping out the mobo? And wouldn't windows automatically install the new motherboard drivers by itself?
