There was a huge earthquake in China.

It happened in China's Sichuan province and state media says 207 are dead; and roughly 11k+ people are injured. This is treacherous. It's really nerve-wracking how no American news corporations are talking about this; only the Boston bombing.

People in China's Sichuan province are preparing for a landslide which could happen.

Quoting from one survivor: "One survivor, Yang Shanqing, said he had lost his family in the disaster." "I tried to call my brother but could not get through. I ran back to the village and was told at the entrance of the village that my brother's house had collapsed,".

This was one hell of a quake.

Well it's disheartening how nobody has talked about in on television.

It did get a great deal of attention, and it's sad what happened in Texas.
Also guys, I think this summer will be a rough one for the Eastern-seaboard of the US in terms of hurricane season.

Here in NYC when we had a 3 or 4 magnitude earthquake and it just shook us in the summer of 2011, it was all around the news; nobody died, or was injured and it still got humongous attention.

But if there was a 9 magnitude earthquake in somewhere where nobody cares about like Billings Montana and 20 died, nobody would give a damn.

no i was saying the reason boston got more attention was because it was a terrorist attack, the texas explosion was just an unfortunate accident. people dont care about what happened to a few hicks down in texas, they are pissed at two guys that just tried to kill 100+ people, thats what they want to see. theres not even much to report on the texas explosion anyways, it exploded, people died, it was an accident.
