Author Topic: Bronze Age Celtic RPG/Free roam simulator  (Read 1072 times)

When I was in London, I took a day to go out and see Stone Henge. It was beautiful, the fields were magnificent and it left me in awe. I was thinking, we have had a lot of simulator servers for harsh environments, apocalypses, and events in history along with historical-fantasy based games. I am extremely interested in Celtic culture now. They operated in tribes and were an agricultural people who had the means to craft tools. I would love to see this be made. I would require players that have either studied or can at least claim to live within the United Kingdom and is educated on the topic. I wanted to mix together historically-accurate elements with game play features. I was planning on making it 500-400 B.C.E(Is not permanent!) for the time period during the Bronze Age located in the modern day United Kingdom.

Well maybe could each tribe spawn in a different area? For example: the Duwallajag tribe would spawn in Havemere. (this is all made up)
Also we should be able to build our own settlements in the server, that would be awesome.

That could be awesome, but it will be hard for the admins to delete spammy builds and other things... So it this is allowed, I think the builders should be admin-approved.

Lots of builders wont be recognised this way, give them the means to do it but only if the purchase something first. This means people intrested in killing and such wont go for it. I mean, who wants to wait around for a few hours just to build some houses? If they travel around collecting money (bronze coins im guessing) then they will see the build styles, and find a nice place for them to build.

The map made should also be HUGE, so places can be sprung up anywhere, and tactical advantages like hill points and rivers would make founding villages much better.

We'd need someone willing to make terrain for us, too. I can model some weapons for us. Maybe administrator approval to build, or maybe have it be you can collect resources to build houses and build them by clicking a base plate of some sort.

Well, we wouldn't be scripting it if that's what you're thinking we'd do.
