If anyone knows do tell.
Also as a bonus can anyone give me a formula to calculate how fast we are moving ingame? eg*jet+moving forward
speed = distance/time

speed = distance/time
speed. = distance over time.

Try doing an experiment. Walk 64 studs, from end to end. Time how long it takes you to walk exactly that, and then do
Distance
Time

You should get the speed of how many studs per seconds.
For jets, just use jets, although they gain acceleration you'll have to find the acceleration unless you were going to do a consistant jet run.

use zone brick to count the seconds you're over a baseplate and then off.

Get Xalo's Speedometer mod.
It measures sps, which means studs per second.

At least I think so.

Forward on foot: 14.0 studs/second*.
Sideways on foot: 12.0 studs/second*.
Backwards on foot: 8.0 studs/second*.
*Acceleration time is negligable for all three.

All directions in water: 6.8 studs/second (max)*.
*This applies on both the surface and underwater.

Jumpjetting on water while going forward: 134.8 studs/second (max).
Crouchjumpjetting on land shows no improvement on land, and is much worse in water.

Maximum vertical jetting speed: 44.3 studs/second (max).
Maximum vertical falling speed: 398.7 studs/second (max)*.
*This is very close to the maximum speed possible of 400 studs/second.

Speed of orbing: 80.0 studs/second*.
*Yes, this means you can go faster than orbing without being an admin (assuming you have jets).

Speed of a Jeep (straight): 60.0 studs/second*.
Speed of a Jeep (turning): ~45.0 studs/second.
*Theoretically. You'll actually only reach 59.8 studs/second.

There. That's as many metrics as I could think of.

Speed of orbing: 80.0 studs/second*.
what about while you're clicking?

what about while you're clicking?

Good question - 160 studs/second, so slightly FASTER than a non-admin could go. But not by much.

Thank you very much Xalos :)

what about while you're clicking?
wait what when why how

you can speed up orbing?!

i feel so ignorant

if you open up mission editor and close it, your orb speed grows even more.
