Author Topic: is the sims 3 worth it? yes or no  (Read 1473 times)

i brought simcity 3000 UK edition and battlefield 2 complete collection from amazon.

i have the sims 1 complete collection but i would like to know if i should get the sims 3 from amazon (Im not loving buying it off steam for £29.00 at amazon its £16.00 i think)

so is it worth it?

Sims 3 is a fun game as long as you can run it well enough. It well worth it, but don't fall for any DLC packs. They're cancer.

Sims 3 was pretty good.

depends on whether you like character creation/large customization or not

What GPU do you have?

I'd recommend it if you like being evil and killing a town's population.

omg the sims pets 3 is best!

I'd recommend it if you like being evil and killing a town's population.

I personally prefer burning everyone to death or trapping them and depriving them of everything

Honestly, it's not really worth it. EA loves to mess up with bugs and patches all the time. Honestly, you'll want to buy more and more expansion packs to fulfill the emptiness you get from the game. More and more content and you still feel empty. It's a never ending cycle and will bring you back in middle of the night to make sure your obese green vampire family finished maxing out their Cooking skill.

Or you just might lose interest in it and never play it.

EDIT: If anything, get Sims 2. The supernaturals are a lot more fun and stuff. Plus it was Maxis before it's early death.
