I hope you realize that a lot of people give the name 'map' to large save files.

As someone who regulars several other forums that aren't this one, I can pretty well call this a pointless statement. Thankfully, believe it or not, there are communities that don't revolve entirely around drama, self-centeredness, and generally being an starfish.

The OP was poorly made and he's probably a troll but he did make a couple valid points:

Blockland has lost originality in the past couple years and one of the large reasons being (Yes, I'm gonna be that guy) V21. The mapmakers (who usually had the most creativity in the modding community) pretty much quit the game and others followed with them. All of the amazing hosts, all of my favorite servers, including Irk89's Challenge, and one of my favorites: Jogre's Dogfight on The Slopes map -- and the original builders who usually had us thrilled with their creations, DM, RPG, or even RP. RP servers weren't nearly as bad back then because there were maps to explore.

I personally enjoyed survival RP servers, including the Zombie Survival Mini-Game on certain maps that were Island-ish and dark. Like, I'm sorry, but maps were Blockland to me. Ever since they've been gone, I just see the game as more dead as it's ever been.

It may not have even been V21 that caused this. It's just the fact that all of our original modders/mappers and creative builders/hosts are gone.

map makers were not the gods of the community. no one really gave a crap about them and no one left with the maps lol.

I posted this a while ago in the Greenlight thread during a discussion on the community and other people outside of it.

Let's look at the facts:

1. Our "community" is full of morons
1. We're starfishs
1. We talk like arseholes
1. We treat each other like stuff
1. Cliques
1. We treat new people like crap, stupid or not
1. Every 2 post are profane
1. We don't except each other's or anyone else's opinions on things, gamut Religion politics to games and shows
1. We have a concentrated amount of starfishs teens


Just saying. Everyone isn't included, but helluva lot of us are and I include myself. We're kinda like rejects who reject their own rejects and treat the other rejects like rejects, then shunning them.

Which is probably why alot people do not like us and even some of our members.
