If you properly get rid of the overlay, you'll be able to use the site normally. Besides, the Chrome console way would only work for one page refresh, not indefinitely.

turns out tho, that Word was not in fact weird, and the links are actually just links to the images lol

i was able to remove those stupid survey things once, i dont remember how but i did something that would allow me to scroll. i was messing around in google chromes console, when i deleted something after that i could scroll.
if i remembered what i deleted i would tell you but i dont.

there's nothing to get rid of anymore
the entire thing is gone, and there wasn't a scroll bar to begin with
when I zoom out I can still see the stuff so I have no idea what's up with that
