Author Topic: You know how sometimes websites... nevermind  (Read 1113 times)

and then everything else is darkened?
and you can't scroll?
how can I get rid of that using google chrome's console?
I've already gotten rid of the thing in front, I just need to enable scrolling somehow

frick whatever
I don't guess there's any real point in knowing how to do this since scams are literally the only things that use them

i have asked this question so many times,
it would be really nice if someone told us how.

what?
let's say there's a website that, normally you would be able to scroll up and down on
but they put this thing up, that sorta gets in the way, but not much. what it does mostly is prevents you from scrolling
and I want to scroll
how

An adblock extension might prevent it from popping up.

it's not an ad
and I already have adblock
but you did give me an idea...

edit: haha nevermind
I just saved the webpage and opened it in Word
success!

damn it no
I'm gonna try the adblock thing

are you referring to this kind of thing (except centered) (and not made in 2 seconds with sumo paint)

Those stupid survey sites?

Yeah there's a way to bypass them, don't go on them. The files uploaded to those sites are bullstuff fake.

that's not the point
I don't care about the content, I already know they're scams
now I just want to do it
despite the fact that it didn't really work, Word did let me know that there really was stuff below, that you can scroll to
so I still have a goal

I have something that can get rid of the surveys, and it also can remove part of the screen.
Like, if a survey isn't detected, it allows you to remove some stuff, like the background or a text box for example.

I did have some bookmark that let you get rid of those popups, but I long removed it since I realized only junk was hidden within those survey sites. Try changing the page size by zooming out.

Can't you click outside of the box that appears? That usually works on sites i've been to that do that

Get Adblock (not plus) and right click it and select "Block this Ad". Like this:

The just move the slider until the whole overlay disappears.

are you talking about adblock? because adblock does that. I already have adblock

turns out tho, that Word was not in fact weird, and the links are actually just links to the images lol
that's handicapped
but anyway I still want to be able to do this
for future reference and stuff

omfg I didn't even think about zooming out
but that may not always work, which is why I want to do this

no, this is specifically intended to stay there. it's one of those "pay for this" things

that works for getting rid of the overlay, but the chrome console can do that too. I need to scroll
