I was going to suggest to start a pirate industry, but then I realized that you don't actually have 4700 CD's

Format your friends drives and install ubuntu on their PC's.

If they're CD-R format, then you can use them for old CD players. If they're CD-RW you could put Kon boot on one, and three different linux distros on the others.

Actually for the second option it doesn't really matter what kind of CD's they are.

First of all, it looks like the title says you have 4,700 CDs...

Anyway, turn them into deadly shurikens.

You are visiting a forum owned by someone who makes their living selling a game.    Posts encouraging software piracy are extremely disrespectful.

What's wrong with the pirate industry?
They just want to produce some shiny high quality CD's and sell them to you.

Does anyone know what's a joke and what's not?

Because if you didn't know what I said was a joke, you're reaally off.

It may look like a joke but you are encouraging pirating

I don't encourage pirating. At all.

I haven't pirated anything at all, and that includes some of the software I use. I either won it in a giveaway or someone gave it to me.

Put a collection of random pictures, videos (mainly research), music, text documents, games, and other crap on them.

After you do this, go for a long car ride to the largest city in your area and frisbee the discs at anyone who looks like they own a computer.
