Author Topic: NAL NEEDS TO FIND A NEW MONITOR  (Read 1345 times)

I am unable to take pictures of this due to the fact that my camera is stuff. After 4-8 minutes of doing one thing on my second monitor after I minimize it, its really hard to explain but all I can say is its burning into, its basically like this . How can I fix this issue, I've been having it for months and its been getting extremely annoying, I've looked up simple help for it and its all done nothing. What other options do I have? The monitor I have is an Acer x193w its about 75hz. I don't know how long I've had it because my uncle gave me it, but what can I do to fix it? Do I need to get a new monitor by any chance? The monitor also changes color at times, but that can be because of the plug I'm using from VGA to DVI is poor.
TOPIC CHANGE
Now I need a new monitor: It needs to be something better then this. Don't list anything too expencive, just something better then that, higher res, maybe bigger size also to support portrait, but thats optional

I think the best course of action would be to save for a new monitor, really.

this is what's referred to as "stuff breaks down". monitor burn is just something some older models run into later because they weren't produced perfectly,

Nonnel: that was supposed to be a sad face

I have a similar model too.

The color changes are from a faulty cable, yes.

Also the burn part, which I know exactly what you mean, the thing that plasma screens have a problem with such as images burning into the screen. The monitor is slowly dying.

Time to get a new one.
