Author Topic: Anyone know of any PC controllers similar to a GCN controller?  (Read 555 times)

My favorite controller of all time is the Gamecube controller, because it fits in your hand so well and the ABXY button setup is surprisingly natural. I was thinking of getting a GCN-to-PC adapter, but first I want to hear your guys' inputs. Are there any similar controllers I could get instead? Is an adapter the way to go? I already have 3 GCN controllers available.

Also, please don't say "keyboard and mouse," I like it too for most games but when you're trying to play a retro game or platforming there's nothing like a good old controller.

You'll never comes close with a 3rd party controller. Just get an adapter.

Thanks.
I'm kind of amazed that after two generations, the Gamecube controller still feels the best to me, although the Wii U one feels nice too, despite it's bulk. It could use better-shaped ends though.
