Except for the part where they are making the games feel more like CoD.
BF4 beta was the biggest load of crap DICE put in my computer to date

it is more like "2015 grapfix simulator with guns btw"

it's like playing a better graphic remake of CoD

i remember banjo kazooie + banjo tooie, and collecting those egg things.

Rare isn't dead, you know that right?
Rareware is, but not Rare.

Lucasarts has pretty much ruined most of the Starwars games in the past, and THQ didn't do much better.

I will slap your stuff. Episode 1 Pod Racer was the best racing game on the Nintendo 64.

As much as I love DK64, there are way too many collectibles in that game.
Rare loves collectibles.

All series have their gems, but they also have a crap ton of other terrible games.

Nintendo pushed the collectathon games into motion with Mario 64, Rareware was the one who spiked it's water with an energy drink.

Super Mario 64 = minimal collectables

Banjo-Kazooie = lots of collectables, but not too ridiculous

Donkey Kong 64 = oh stuff what are you doing

no game has more collectables than dk64

we need an exact list on how many things you needed to collect in dk 64
something like 201 Golden Bananas, 40 Banana Medals, 20
Banana Fairies, and 10 Battle Arena Crowns

By contrast, Banjo-Kazooie has a nice neat 100 jiggies, 900 music notes, 24 extra honeycombs, and 115 mumbo tokens; only one character you have to collect them as (well, two characters controlled as one).  Hell, that last one isn't even tracked on the totals menu, so most people who go for "100%" don't bother to get all of them.  Still kind of a lot of collectables, but it's not too ridiculous.
