I have decided to start hosting a Blockland Forums Stepmania server,
using OpenSMO, software for hosting a Stepmania server for others to use. (duringtopicedit: The thing forces you to use passwords, however it's not working for me for ANY password I know. anyone can help me with this?)
The IP is 97.88.163.178 for anyone who wishes to join. If it does not work without a port for some reason, the port is 8765.
Main/Chat Rules:
1. No spam.
2. No advertising (You're not on the Blockland Forums, but that doesn't give you the right to advertise offsite).
3. No racism.
4. No trolling.
5. NSFW images are allowed to be pasted in chat.
Now, here's how to use Stepmania Online for those who are not familiar with it's controls:
Left and Right = Select song
Up = Modifiers and such
Down = Change Difficulty
Ctrl+Enter = Confirm (except in modifiers, just hit enter)
How to connect (Stepmania 5 only tutorial):
1. Use main theme or theme that has Network Options/Network support.
2. Go to options by using Options on main menu or using Scroll Lock or defined key.
3. Select Network Options.
4. Select Connect, and type 97.88.163.178 (port is 8765 if needed).
5. Exit the menu when connected.
6. Do what you normally do when starting a normal game of Stepmania.
Server status:
NOT WORKING, NEED STEPMANIA ONLINE HOSTING SOFTWARE (OpenSMO is not working for me). PLEASE HELP.
