if you want a hardcore standing desk a youtuber named levelcap has one thats pretty high end i think - in a recent video he showed his gaming setup
he also has elbow rests attached to the desk, which is pretty cool imo
i dont know enough about em to give you anything super helpful beyond that

i can't get them in australia under $1000 unfortunately, but I think i've found something comparable and it's electric vs manual too!

i save heaps without a desk top, which i'll probably just buy from ikea or something
