also single-player, wat. it's just the multiplayer with incompetent bots and a lackluster story that they promised would be "dynamic" but ended up being a bunch of short cutscenes. BRINK in general was disappointing, and I'm willing to bet the over-marketing was preventing Splash Damage from doing what they wanted with the game, and the main reason they released the game in the state it was in.

Luckily, Splash Damage is working on Extraction, which looks like it'll be a hell of a lot better considering it's F2P.

he hasn't actually DONE anything (or been able to) at id for the longest time. his leave was only officialized, he might as well have left years ago.

it's not like id has been id since Quake III anyway.
