i know better than to go around yanking on wires or smashing vacuum tubes
besides that, this isn't the first time i've opened up a crt monitor. this stuff isn't new at all to me.

yea i'm ok, thanks for the concern
but the thing was disconnected for a long time before i ever got around to opening it up so i don't think there's a charge in it anymore
