New CityRPG gamemoed (might not because Vaux)
Regarding this, make it somewhat simple. Use the score for money, allow incscore and stuff, but make it admin only (to put into bricks, any player can trigger it).
Allow random money to spawn on bricks. Bricks named '$spawn' will have money spawn in tiny amounts (1-5), '$$spawn' will have money spawn in better amounts (5-20), and '$$$spawn' will have money spawn in great amounts(20-100).
Instead of having a whole bunch of jobs, just have a few jobs that have different 'ranks' or promotion levels (kinda like sims). For example, only one shop job. Could start off with little pay and as time goes on you get promoted to level 2 etc. Focus jobs on making the player do activity. For example, if someone buys something of yours then your income will increase for the next few days, and your chance for promotion increases. For police, if you arrest someone (not kill them) then their income etc will increase. If you do kill a wanted man, your pay will still go up but not as much as arresting them. So just use the taser (which will ONLY work on wanted people). Give police more power. Also police guns will only hurt wanted people, people that are not wanted will not be damaged. Give criminals less power. Make guns more expensive if you are wanted. Make dermits more expensive to pay off, and impossible to pay off at a specific point (like 3 stars wanted or something). Let cops spawn with guns, do not let criminals spawn with guns. Criminals get VERY LOW pay, and it only slightly increases if they kill someone, and slightly increases more if they kill a police officer.
Regarding death, make it GTA styled. When you respawn a percentage of your money will go away. Also increase the maximum health so it's harder to die.
Regarding police arrest, if you are arrested then you will still be taken to a prison cell but you have another option, you can go on parole which will last longer and be limiting, but you will still be somewhat free! Regarding the crimes you committed, many things could happen. The parole time will be the time you have to spend in prison multiplied by the amount of stars you had. Once you're on parole, if you committed a murder then you will not be able to buy items and if you go near a person/people you murdered then your wanted level will go up. If you're on parole then once you reach 3 stars wanted you are automatically sent back to jail without the option to go on parole again. Once you're released from prison, you will go on a parole-like state for 5 minutes so you can't just go back to a crime spree, and also a percentage of your money will go away.
Okay I'm done.
