Author Topic: Suggest to me some multiplayer games which have virtual economies!  (Read 524 times)

I know that Second Life, TF2, a few Valve games, and Gaia already have virtual economies but I'm looking for some more even ones which aren't so competitive. I'm mainly looking for indies though or newer games which have an E-economy. It can be any game, but please no fantasy RPG's, or FPS's.

i wouldn't say this normally but since it is one of my topics that i look after i'd say that spiral knights has an economy that is pretty important

RotMG has an economy
it's not really a newer game though

if you ever want to go hardcore into virtual economies, eve is great

i found the game utterly boring except for the economy aspect. it actually got me into real life investing which is going really well.

you can get to a point in game where you can just pay for the sub with the profits you earn from however you choose to trade which is cool.

I think it's a fairly unique game, however how do you earn items and are you able to sell them for real life money?

selling rotmg items for $$$ is against the ToS and is bannable.

Oh darn, I was wondering because when I looked up RoTMG items - a bunch of sites popped up which were selling these items for USD.
