Battlefield 2 Project realty 1... People still play?

Hey. I have found a mod that goes for battlefeild 2, I'm not sure if its good or not or even people still play it, just wondering if its fun to play. I been watching youtube videos but I'm not sure if they are old or something. I heard there's a lot of classes and its based on real life. I have my battlefield 2 but I do not have the code for it. So I might buy another copie. But I'm not sure if the mod is alive or not
