Author Topic: Call of Duty World at War multiplayer progress lost.  (Read 670 times)

So since I got a new computer, I re-installed a bunch of games. One of them was Call of Duty World at War, which I found the multiplayer to be pretty enjoyable. However, one problem, all my multiplayer progress seems to be lost.

Now, whenever  I mentioned this, somebody told me about saving my profile (i can't remember if he said as a or into a) .rar and then putting it on a flash drive and putting it back onto my new computer. And another problem is that I don't know where this profile is.

Did he mean my Steam profile or something like that?

If somebody could give me some simple instructions on how to do this, i'd gladly appreciate it. (also google didn't help much)

Oh, and my singleplayer progress was lost too.

I google searched, "call of duty world at war transfer profile," and got tons of relevant results. What the heck were you searching for?

All you have to do is get the save folder which is in the directory of the game. To get to the directory, open the properties list for the game and select "View local files". Then just find some folder that looks like "saves" (or something similar idk)  and transfer it to your other computer using some means of storage. After that find the same directory on that computer and replace the save file on there with the one you transferred.

This is how it works with most steam games but it might be different for WaW.
